August 10, 2007. The American Bar Association will today award Elena Ezhova, the director of the Russian Justice Initiative Moscow office, its 2007 International Human Rights Award. The award is a recognition of Ezhova's efforts to provide legal assistance to victims of grave human rights abuse in Chechnya.
Read more... October 3, 2005. The Swedish organization Forum for Living History awarded Arsen Sakalov, coordinator for the Chechnya Justice Project, the 2005 Per Anger Prize for his efforts to bring justice to victims of human rights abuse in connection with the conflict in Chechnya.
