First admissibility decision

The European Court announced the first admissibility decision among the projects’ cases, in the case Imakayeva v Russia. The case Imakayeva v Russia involves the detention and disappearance in December 2000 by Russian federal forces of the applicant’s son, Said-Khusein, and the subsequent detention and disappearance of the applicant’s husband, Said-Magomed, in 2002, just a few months after his application to the European Court concerning the disappearance of his son.
